ABOUT JOHN RODRÍGUEZ ACEVEDO
John Rodríguez Acevedo is a dedicated coffee producer from Huila, Colombia, where generations of farmers have cultivated some of the most expressive coffees in the world. His work reflects the growing movement of Colombian producers who are blending tradition with modern processing techniques to create coffees that are vibrant, distinctive, and full of personality.
Bourbon Papayo is an especially exciting varietal known for its elegant fruit character and floral aromatics. With this advanced washed lot, John brings out the playful side of the variety while maintaining clarity and balance in the cup. The result is a coffee that feels bright, refreshing, and incredibly expressive.
This cup bursts with juicy watermelon and melon sweetness, layered with candy-like brightness and delicate floral notes of lavender and lilac. A gentle lactic acidity adds a yogurt-like creaminess, creating a silky mouthfeel that ties everything together. The result is a playful, fruit-forward coffee that feels like sipping on summer in a cup.
